Nordstrom Video Identity System

In a transformative initiative at Nordstrom, I led the design and development of the Nordstrom Video Identity System, elevating our video production to new heights of brand consistency across internal communications, highlight reels, and investor relations videos. This system was later extended to our social media content, through collaboration with the social media design team. Through a detailed analysis of Nordstrom’s branding guidelines and a proactive assessment of the video team's needs, I engineered a robust video design framework that ensured consistency, elegance, and operational efficiency. The framework's comprehensive typography standards, logo usage, media presentation, and animation style and function–redefined our production process. Intuitive After Effects templates I developed became the cornerstone of a streamlined workflow, fostering design cohesion and review process optimization. This effort was recognized with a prestigious award, honoring outstanding achievements in advancing customer engagement and meeting Nordstrom’s strategic goals.
